Question 1

How do I enter a competition?

Accepted Answer

Choose a competition, answer the question if there is one, pick how many tickets you want and check out. Your ticket numbers are emailed to you and always visible in My Account.

Question 2

Is there a free way to enter?

Accepted Answer

You do not have to pay to enter. Every competition has a free postal entry route with the same chance of winning as a paid ticket, entered into the same draw. The address and terms are shown on each competition page.

Question 3

How many tickets can I buy?

Accepted Answer

Each competition has a maximum number of tickets per person, shown on the competition page.

Question 4

Do I need to answer a skill question?

Accepted Answer

Some competitions include a simple skill question. If yours does, the competition page explains how your answer is used.

Question 5

How old do I need to be?

Accepted Answer

You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to enter. We check your date of birth when you sign up.

Question 6

How are winners chosen?

Accepted Answer

Every ticket sold has an equal chance of winning. At the advertised draw time, a winning ticket number is picked at random from all tickets sold. We run this selection ourselves. It is not currently verified by an independent third party.

Question 7

When are draws held?

Accepted Answer

Draws take place shortly after each competition closes.

Question 8

How will I know if I have won?

Accepted Answer

The winning ticket number is published on the competition page and on our Winners page. We also email the winner. If we cannot reach a winner within 14 days, we may draw again. Any win also shows in My Account.

Question 9

What happens if a competition does not sell out?

Accepted Answer

If a competition does not sell out, the draw still goes ahead at the advertised date and time, using all tickets sold at that point.

Question 10

How are prizes delivered?

Accepted Answer

Physical prizes are delivered within 28 days of the draw.

Question 11

Can I take a cash alternative?

Accepted Answer

Some prizes have a cash alternative, shown on the competition page. Cash alternatives, where offered, are paid to a verified UK bank account within 5 working days of the draw.

Question 12

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or if a competition is cancelled.

Question 13

What are Cash Wallet and Site Credit?

Accepted Answer

Your Cash Wallet holds prize money that you can withdraw to your UK bank account. Site Credit can be spent on tickets but cannot be withdrawn. You can convert Cash Wallet money into Site Credit, but not the other way round.

Question 14

How do I withdraw prize money?

Accepted Answer

Open your wallet and request a withdrawal to your UK bank account. We may ask you to verify your ID the first time. Requests are reviewed by our team.

Question 15

Can I add credit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can top up Site Credit from your wallet. Top-ups follow your spending limits, breaks and self-exclusion, just like buying tickets.

Question 16

What are instant wins?

Accepted Answer

Some competitions have winning ticket numbers hidden among the tickets before the sale starts. If your ticket number matches one, you win that prize straight away and do not need to wait for the main draw. Check My Account after buying to see your wins.

Question 17

How do the games work?

Accepted Answer

On some competitions you reveal your tickets by playing a game, such as a scratchcard or a wheel. The result is decided when your tickets are allocated, so the game simply reveals it.

Question 18

How do I set spending limits or take a break?

Accepted Answer

From your account, open Spending Limits to set daily, weekly or monthly limits, take a break or self-exclude. You can lower a limit at any time; raising one takes a cooling-off period.

Question 19

How do I contact you?

Accepted Answer

You can email us at info@example.co.uk or call us on 01295 703073. We are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
